Meet Marie Calvert our Estates, Health, and Safety Administrator.

Marie has been part of the ACG team for more than 3 Years.

Her key responsibilities as part of the Health and Safety team are helping to look after the welfare of all the staff, from inducting them when they first arrive, looking after the accommodation for live-in staff, and ensuring everyone has adequate training and knowledge to carry out their roles safely. Her time is split 50/50 between the office and the farms, and she gets to work with pretty much every member of the ACG team.

We asked Marie what she enjoys most about working for ACG to which she said, ‘I love the variety of my job. We do a serious job but have fun doing it and I can honestly say I laugh every day. As a local girl, I’ve seen the company grow in size and success over the years. It is so nice to work for a family business where you all work as a team and you’re not just a name on the payroll sheet.’

Marie is a mum to two teenage girls who she is super proud of, and they enjoyed coming to ACG for work experience this summer. She loves her dog Barney too, (he’s her favourite child!) he gets so excited to see her!!

We simply could not be more proud of each and every member of our team, and the hard work and commitment they show daily.
