Statement on Fraudulent Job Advertisement
AC Goatham & Son recently became aware of a fraudulent agency advertising they were working in cooperation with us and falsely advertising potential work with our company.
Please be aware that we work with Labour Providers, Pro-Force, and Concordia for our seasonal workers, you should be aware of fraudulent activity, including persons or companies impersonating these companies or their employees. Especially those that only correspond via WhatsApp, Telegram, or mobile phone. Another point to be wary of is if they ask for money via bank transfers, wire transfers, or PayPal.
Individuals sharing fraudulent job opportunities and asking for payment are not employed by AC Goatham & Son. The only costs you should incur when applying for a job in the UK are your travel and, if needed, the cost of the Seasonal Worker Visa and Visa appointment.
We encourage you to take extra precautions if you receive unsolicited messages or emails asking you to provide your personal/confidential information.
AC Goatham & Son never charges fees for any part of the recruitment process.
Workers should not pay any fees to AC Goatham & Son, Labour Providers, international agents, or third-party agents during any part of the recruitment process.
Workers will be required to pay, where required, for a visa to enter and work in the UK and transportation costs. (Some participants may be required to pay fees to TLS or VFS Global for their visas).
For more information on visa application fees, please visit the Gov.Uk website.
Emails sent from AC Goatham & Son will be sent from our own domain, we will never use any other mail service to communicate with job seekers.
