1947
Established in 1947 by Arthur and Phyllis Goatham.
With immense pride, care and lots of hard work, we started traditions that are carried on today: traditions of local, long-term and fair partnerships.
1980
Clive Goatham buys his first farm, Street Farm in Hoo.
Clive has progress in mind , a vision for Goatham’s and a strong desire to bring excellent Kentish produce to the rest of the UK.
2013
Programme of investment in and expansion of AC Goatham & Son.
First phase of major programme of investment and expansion of Goatham’s completed. Thanks to the vision of Arthur, Phyllis, their son Clive, grandson Ross and with an excellent management team, Goatham’s has gone from strength to strength. 2013 saw the completion of the first phase of investment and expansion of Goatham’s, moving closer to the goal of sharing British apples and pears with the whole of the UK.
2017
Goatham’s celebrates its 70th anniversary and HRH The Princess Royal opens The Arthur Goatham building at Flanders Farm.
A year of celebration, 2017 saw the 70th anniversary of Goatham's - 70 years of family-owned enterprise, still firmly rooted in the local community and committed to producing beautiful, sustainable fruit.

Goatham’s grows 1 in 3 of the British apples and pears sold in the UK. Goatham’s remains a family owned and operated business committed to local partnerships. Tradition, sustainability and a reputation for fairness and growing great quality, Goatham’s is ready for the next great adventure.
